MSI has updated the gaming laptops GE60 and GE70

Taiwanese company MSI has updated the hardware component of gaming laptops GE60 and GE70 . As before, the GE60 and GE70 models differ only in their display diagonal. In the case of the model GE60 - it is 15.6 inches (resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels). The MSI GE70 model boasts a 17.3-inch LED backlit display operating at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The laptop configuration includes Intel Core i7 processors on the Ivy Bridge micro-architecture, Wi-Fi wireless modules with 802.11 b / g / n support and Bluetooth 4.0, an Ethernet network adapter, a DVD Super Multi drive, and a 6-cell battery. The graphics subsystem is represented by a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 660M with 2 GB of memory. The maximum amount of RAM running at 1600 MHz is up to 16 GB.

The storage subsystem is represented by a tandem of a 128 GB hard drive and a 750 GB hard disk with a spindle speed of 7200 rpm.

Also available are HDMI and VGA video outputs, two USB 3.0 ports, a card reader with XD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC / MS card format support and a webcam. The novelty implements such proprietary technologies as Turbo Drive Engine (TDE), Cooler Boost, THX TruStudio Pro, Cinema Pro, i-Charger and ECO Engine.

The dimensions of the model GE60 are 383 x 249.5 x 37.6-32.3 millimeters, and the weight is 2.5 kilograms. Dimensions of the GE70 modification are 418 x 269.3 x 39 millimeters, weight is 2.8 kilograms.
