The Taiwanese company Acer, which recently presented its low-cost smartphone Liquid Z3, has launched three new ultra-high-definition LED monitors. New items are designed for users of different levels.
The T272HUL and B276HUL models for beginners and advanced users, respectively, are equipped with a 27-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD). The professional model B296CL offers the same number of pixels, but on a 29-inch screen.
The Acer T272HUL monitor is equipped with a gesture recognition system, has 10 touch points and is compatible with the Windows 8 operating system. The display of this model displays 1.07 billion colors and responds in 5 seconds. Asymmetric stand allows the monitor to rotate 30-80 degrees, and built-in connectors VGA, DVI, HDMI and USB 3.0 hub guarantee the connection of various devices. Like the other two models, this one offers a vertical and horizontal visibility of 178 degrees and stereo speakers.
The 27-inch B276HUL model and the 29-inch B296CL come with a fully adjustable stand with dedicated cable storage and a magnetic surface for storing office supplies. In both models, it is possible to rotate the display 90 degrees clockwise, tilt 5 degrees forward or 35 degrees backward depending on the vertical position, and also rotate up to 120 degrees to the left or right without shifting the support.
B276HUL and B296CL display 16.7 million colors, responding in 6 and 8 ms, respectively. As for the connection, these are DVI-D Dual Link connectors (double the bandwidth), DisplayPort, 4-port USB hub and HDMI in the amount of two pieces.
Monitors Acer B276HUL and Acer B296CL have already appeared on the American market at a price of 599 dollars, while Acer T272HUL is expected at the end of this month with a price tag of 999 dollars.
A few months earlier, Japanese Fujitsu showed an ultrabook with a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels.
