This year, experts predict the growth in sales of personal computers, in the past, lost priority to tablets and smartphones. To help this trend, a start-up company from Poland, who invented a computer inside a computer mouse, can help.
The conceptual computer in the form of a computer mouse is equipped with a 4-core processor, a Wi-Fi module, motion sensors, USB 3.0 ports and a 128 GB drive. According to the authors of the project, the only peripheral device that will be required to work with it is a monitor.
A wireless gadget is called a Mouse-Box. In size, it does not differ from the traditional computer mouse, so it sits comfortably in your hand. At the heart of the new computer is a 1.4-ghertsovy processor on the microarchitecture ARM - the same is used in the tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 10.
The Mouse-Box is connected to a monitor or projector via a standard HDMI cable, and by the amount of memory this computer is not inferior to the iPhone 6 Plus smartphone. It's physically impossible to increase the amount of memory available, but if you want, you can solve this problem using the cloud data store.
The device is not only connected by air, but also charged without wires. For this purpose, a special device is used - induction charging in the form of a mouse pad. This means that the "computer in the mouse" will never run out of charge.
The creators of "Mouse-Box" call their product "an incredible combination of the two most important components of a personal computer." In the demo video, the new device is positioned as an alternative to an office or home PC.
At present, the authors of the project collect money for the creation of a prototype, which is later planned to be launched into batch production. The price and timing of the device's release on the market are not reported. More about the project
