The company NEC introduced the new ultrabook LaVie Z , which claims to be the lightest and thinnest in the world. The weight of the novelty is 875 grams, and the thickness is only 14.9 mm. To make such a light ultrabook, NEC used a magnesium-lithium alloy.

Thanks to this alloy, the case of Noviki was not only light, but also quite strong. The ultrabook offers a 13.3-inch display. When the novelty comes on sale, it will be offered in two versions: with an Intel Core i7-3517U and a 256 GB SSD drive, as well as with an Intel Core i5-3317U processor and a 128 GB SSD. Both versions will offer 4 GB of RAM, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. The price of ultrabooks is still unknown. However, there is evidence that at first the new items will be released in Japan.
