MSI unveils CX61 and CR61 multimedia laptops

The range of the Taiwanese company MSI has replenished with multimedia laptops CX61 and CR61 , which differ in the graphic subsystem. Model CX61 boasts a discrete graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M or NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M with 2 GB of video memory. MSI CR61 laptop users will have to be content with Intel HD integrated graphics.

Laptops are equipped with a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The description includes the following characteristics: Wi-Fi wireless modules with support for 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0, up to 8 GB of DDR3-1333 RAM, 500, 640 or 750 GB hard disk, DVD Super Multi drive, audio system SRS, webcam, as well as a 6-cell battery.

HDMI and D-Sub video outputs, two USB 3.0 ports and a card reader with support for XD / SDHC / SDXC / MMC / MS cards are also available. The novelty implements such proprietary technologies as Turbo Battery, S-Bar, Cooler Boost, THX TruStudio Pro, Cinema Pro, i-Charger and ECO Engine. The dimensions of laptops are 383 x 249.5 x 37.6-32.3 millimeters, and the weight is 2.4 kilograms.
