The Windows 8 operating system “spawned” an entire army of “ultrabook-transformers” with touch screens. Sony has decided not to create another single-type “transformer” running the Windows 8 operating system, but simply to equip the Vaio T13 ultrabook with a touchscreen display.
The device is only 17.78 mm thick and weighs about 1.59 kilograms. The new model Vaio T13 will receive a 13.3-inch touchscreen display, solid state drive and other features of devices of this class. Its cost will be 770 dollars. The screen does not rotate, so users will get a regular ultrabook with a touchscreen display.
Of course, the Japanese company Sony has not become the first, and its offspring will compete with the Series 5 Ultra, which are also equipped with touch screens.
