IFA 2012: AsusPro BU400 - Ultrabook for Business

ASUS showed off its first ultrabook oriented to a business audience. The novelty is called AsusPro BU400 and it clearly differs from the representatives of the Zenbook ultrabook line. It is slightly thicker, but still light. And offers a set of necessary corporate functions.

The laptop has a carbon frame, offers an HD display and a moisture-proof keyboard. As security features are available: disk encryption system, TMP system, fingerprint scanner, anti-shock system for the hard disk (it will also be possible to offer an option with SSD).

The BU400 uses a touchscreen display that supports Windows 8 gestures, and also offers USB 3.0, VGA, and SD card reader ports.

Laptop weight 1.6 kg. ASUS is not talking about the cost of this new product and the date it goes on sale. It is also not reported in which markets this ultrabook will be sold.
