Motorola Unveils Android-Based HMC3260 Desktop

Motorola introduced the HMC3260 monoblock in China, which is running the Android operating system. The novelty offers a 18.5-inch touchscreen display with LED backlighting and is powered by a Freescale i.MX53 ARM Cortex A8 processor with a frequency of 1 GHz.

The system has 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of NAND Flash memory. Motorola HMC3260 comes unfortunately only with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, not the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but it is nevertheless suitable for watching movies, games, surfing the web and launch Android applications.

At the moment, the price of a monoblock and information about whether it will be available on other markets remain unknown.
