Well-known Taiwanese company Gigabyte has just announced the release of its new laptop based on the third-generation Intel processor. The new laptop will be offered with the Windows 7 operating system on board. Notubuk is called Gigabyte Q2440 .

The novelty offers a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels - as well as most laptops in the middle price segment. Gigabyte can equip the new 2 or 4 gigabytes of DDR3 RAM, but the maximum amount of supported memory is 8 GB. You can choose from a hard disk with a capacity from 320 to 750 gigabytes. There is a DVD burner. Two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, one HDMI, classic VGA D-Sub, gigabit LAN, HD audio jacks and a 6-in-1 card reader are offered as connection ports.

The novelty is based on the Intel HM76 chipset. It has support for WirelessN, Bluetooth 4.0 and is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
