Acer announced the compact desktop ME and XC

Acer has unveiled new low-cost desktops of the ME series for casual users. Systems offer Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, 2 TB hard drives and up to 16 GB of RAM.

New items are collected in the hull form factor Mini Tower and are running the operating system Windows 8.

In addition to the ME series, Acer introduced the XC desktop in a very compact package, with an Intel Core i3 processor and a 1 TB hard drive. The system offers up to 6 GB of RAM.

The cost of ME desktops starts from $ 700. Cheaper XC will offer from 400 dollars.
