ASUS , a master in the production of things combining several devices at once, brought its heavy artillery Transformer AiO P1801 to the CES 2013 exhibition - a combination of an Android tablet and a Windows 8-based PC.
First, let's start with a large, hard to say, 18.4-inch tablet running on a Tegra 3 processor, offering a Full HD (1080p) display and running the Android operating system. But you only need to install ASUS Transformer AiO P1801 in the docking station, switch the operation mode - and we have a computer (monoblock) based on Windows 8.
In monoblock mode, AiO offers Intel Core i3 or i5 processor families, up to 8 GB of RAM, as well as a 1 or 2 TB hard drive. When using only the tablet, the user has access to 32 GB of flash memory.
The monoblock has an SD card slot, four USB 3.0 ports, a Kensignton lock, an optical drive and a USB transceiver (for keyboard and mouse).
About the price of the new product is not reported.
