The lost works of Andy Warhol were found on old diskettes

Утерянные работы Энди Уорхола были найдены на старых дискетах

The staff of the Andy Warhol Museum managed to obtain a rare set of works by the artist, who for more than twenty years were stored on floppy disks. Warhol drew these works using a personal computer Commodore Amiga 1000.

Images were discovered by the artist Cory Arkangel after he accidentally stumbled upon an old video on YouTube, in which the King of Pop Art, using the Amiga 1000 computer, digitally processes the photo of Blondie's soloist Debbie Harri in front of numerous viewers.

After what he saw, Corey became interested: where are the original files of the artist's works? He began searching alone, and later he was joined by his familiar artists and even employees of the University of Carnegie, who also got burned with the idea of finding valuable files.

During the investigation, they went to the Andy Warhol Museum, in the archives of which more than 40 floppy disks with lost pictures were discovered. The joy of the staff of the museum simply did not have a limit! After all, this treasure lay directly under their noses, but no one could guess what was written on these dusty diskettes.
