Thanks to this computer, meteorologists will be able to predict the weather, considering the amount of different data that was previously unavailable. For example, a new supercomputer will be able to predict with high accuracy whether the fog at Heathrow Airport will be at a certain time.

In addition, the computer will also allow weather forecasters to accurately predict potential floods, as well as carry out longer-term forecasting of changes in weather conditions.

According to the idea, the use of this supercomputer will save Britain more than three billion dollars a year. Such savings will be achieved through the adoption of protective measures by agriculture during floods or during heavy snowfalls.
