IBM has entered into an agreement with Fluid, an online trading company, and plans to create a cloud-based Expert Personal Shopper (XPS) application that will use Watson's power to answer questions from visitors to online stores.

To visitors of this particular Internet store, the first in the world, instead of a living consultant, all questions will be answered by a supercomputer.

The computer will be programmed in such a way as to behave like a real sales consultant. He will be able to recommend the best options for the goods, based on the preferences of the buyer. If, for example, a person asks what clothes are best to buy for a five-day trip on rough terrain with severe weather conditions, Watson will pick up the ideal equipment. In the future, it is also planned to use the services of such sales consultants using mobile devices.
