The new game of the Halo series will first be available only to Russian players

Yesterday in the center of Moscow, representatives of the 343 Industries and Saber Interactive studios, which develop games of the popular series of shooters Halo, made a very unusual announcement. They told the public about the free-to-play project Halo Online, which will be available to Russian PC users in the form of a beta version this spring. Noteworthy is the fact that outside of Russia the game will not appear immediately. Thank for it is the Russian company "Innova", which will help Microsoft make the game Halo Online popular in the domestic market.

Halo Online is a multiplayer first-person shooter, built on the basis of a much improved and updated engine from the game Halo 3, which, unfortunately, on the PC and did not come out. The events of the game unfold just after the events of the third part of Halo, so that fans of the series will immediately understand what's here for what. As a tribute to Russian players, a map was added to the game, representing a real Russian city of the future.

The game is designed in such a way that the updated engine could feel confident even on low-end computers. However, this approach should not negatively affect the visual beauty of the game. Free-to-play-game will be based on a unique economic system, but so far the developers do not disclose all the secrets of the project. Microsoft has no intention of porting the game to its Xbox 360 and Xbox One gaming consoles, so Halo Online is likely to remain a PC-exclusive.

Western players reacted very violently to the announcement of Halo Online. Some were disappointed that the first to try the game will be exclusively Russian users, and someone even suggested in the shortest possible time to learn Russian and through Russian VPN servers to connect to beta testing in order to start learning new game mechanics as soon as possible.

Game cards Halo Online will be designed for 4-16 players, when each user will represent one of the teams: red or blue. Also, the system of various tests will be integrated into the game, as it is now fashionable in the camp of modern shooters like Battlefield and Call of Duty. Players will be able to customize their character for themselves and provide it with unique features such as custom weapons and armor.
