Of course, these computers are focused primarily on the needs of state-owned enterprises and the defense sector, but nobody excludes that in the future there will be computers for ordinary consumers.


Personal computer "Elbrus-401" is based on the Elbrus-4S processor with a clock frequency of 800 MHz (peak performance of 50 Gflops) and is intended for the equipment of operator's workplaces, organization of micro servers and information terminals, applications in industrial automation and in systems with increased requirements for security. In the context of the information war unfolding between the major states in recent years, it is the security issue that is placed first. Exploits contained in foreign processors can potentially harm any state that relies solely on them.

The system is equipped with 24 GB of RAM with a potential increase of this volume to 96 GB. It has a 1 TB hard drive and a 128 GB mSATA drive. The video system in the computer is represented by the ATI Radeon 6000 series card. "Elbrus-401" supports the connection of up to 8 USB-devices, it is executed in the MiniTower case, and its peak power consumption is declared at the level of 450 W.

In servers "Elbrus 4.4" installed four processors Elbrus-4S. They support the amount of RAM up to 384 GB. There are servers running the Elbrus operating system, which was created on the basis of the Linux kernel. "Elbrus 4.4" supports the installation of other operating systems, including Windows and various versions of Linux.
