The Russian Army will receive a new automated complex of the REB "Bylina"

Izvestia reports that the automated complex of electronic warfare "Bylina" has signs of artificial intelligence and is able to independently analyze the combat situation, and then apply various methods to suppress radars, satellites and enemy communications. At the same time, "jammers" do not operate on the equipment of their own troops.

The Main Staff of the Army reports that the first "Bylins" will go to the troops of electronic warfare in the next, in 2018, all brigades are going to equip the novelty by 2025.

The Bylina complex (RB-109A) consists of five trucks and a life support system. Inside the bodies of high-pass trucks all necessary equipment is located. The system starts automatically and immediately after deployment, independently connecting to the headquarters systems, control points of the mouth, battalions and separate stations of electronic warfare. Information exchange between the sites "Bylina" also carries out in real time, so operators will only need to learn to "monitor" the data they receive and monitor the situation.

The developers explain that "Bylina" is a unique system that at the moment has no analogues and can be used for a wide range of tasks. The new installation will be able to effectively "crush" enemy aircraft, its communication systems, controls and even satellites, operating at a distance of hundreds of kilometers. In addition, with the help of new equipment, it is possible to detect and suppress even small radio stations with which small reconnaissance groups work. Similar opportunities were in the military before, but "Bylina" will be able to cope with these tasks much faster and more efficiently, almost without resorting to the help of the operator.
