Of course, Intel in 2011 released a 10-core server processor Xeon, but for home computers this solution is represented by the company for the first time.

The new processor runs at 3 GHz with automatic overclocking under 3.5 GHz with Turbo Boost 3.0 technology, and its 25 megabytes of cache memory is really impressive. Of course, new technologies are worth a lot of money. Those wishing to acquire such a processor should be aware that it will cost 1723 dollars. According to the official representatives of Intel, in the processing of 3D graphics, the new processor is twice as fast as the quad-core i7-6700K, and 35% faster than the Core i7-5960X. When it comes to processing 4K-video, the new chip demonstrates a performance increase of up to 65%.

The new line will also include an 8-core i7-6900K processor for $ 1,089, as well as 6-core i7-6850K for $ 617 and i7-6800K for $ 434. All processors of the new line are fully unlocked for overclockers, so the latter can additionally disperse them to their needs. The new i7 also supports DDR4-2400 memory.
