The software and hardware complex created by the engineers of the Polyus Research Institute and the Schwabe holding company will allow us to more efficiently monitor the condition of the buildings, detecting flaws in the design and thus allowing us to quickly correct errors or strengthen a separate part of the house.
Specially designed software recreates the researched building on the computer, and then prescribes parameters corresponding to acceptable values in all key points of the building. After that, laser gyroscopic sensors and other equipment are installed on the site, capable of transferring the collected information to the computer of the engineer with the software installed on it, which compares the obtained values with the allowed ones, thus allowing problems to be identified long before they appear.
"Development allows to improve the quality of the control of the state of a building or structure and, in comparison with the existing methods of measurement, to detect not only stresses in the structure but also deformations. This is achieved due to the fact that our system creates a conditional image of the object and fixes the minimum deviations from the specified parameters ", - quotes the website of Rostek, Director General of the Polyus Research Institute Evgeny Kuznetsov.
The new development is capable of analyzing buildings and detecting deviations with different load on the structure, so it can be useful in the analysis of buildings commissioned.
